Picnic shelter in day use area surrounded by shore pines

Griffiths-Priday State Park looks tiny, but is one of those lesser-known spots that can be great for avoiding the crowds.
This park has clean restrooms right next to the parking lot and a day use area with picnic tables. It features a reservable group picnic shelter, trails through dunes and views of the Pacific Ocean and Copalis River.
